Here you can add your feedback and comments regarding EA Sports UEFA Euro 2008 video game. You can also write your reviews and bug reports as well, we will list your texts here online and invite EA developers to read them.

i was a bit disapointed with the Uefa Euro 2oo8 its too easy compare with Fifa08…..and I will doubt that how the tick system work if the game speed increse on Fifa09…
the goaline is kinda stupid..the keeper never know to catch the cross smarter..

massive improvement. LIke the idea of captain your club, but make it go for the life of the player. Really good job.

Oh forgot to write it before….. It´s so bad that your keeper runs out to the edge of the penalty area, when the other team makes a “through ball”

    Good things about the game:
-The feeling with the ball is bether.
-The situations in the penalty area, after taking a corner kick, is much more realistic
    - It´s good that the other teams’ goalkeeper doesn´t throw the ball to you in stead of kicking the ball

    Bad things about the game:
-When the other team gets a free kick it scores allmost everytime.
Why is it that so many teams aren´t licensed? - Holland for example.

Gameplay is much better than FIFA 08. The passing system is better in that you can string together beautiful combos. Fake shots, passes etc too hard.
There needs to be an addition for quick restarts on free kicks! This has always bothered me about the FIFA series. Gameplay overall is great, dont change much in 09.

I love Fifa, but i was a bit disapointed with the Uefa Euro 2oo8 it didn’t have the features that is importent.
fx. where is the Practice mode ????
And the Captain your Country mode is simply Boring.
and Why is the real Dutch Players not in the game that is bad…
but i do need to say that i think the grafic is ok but please let the Fifa 09 be better !!!

I wanted to see amazing scenes at the final, with fire works and streamers, Players coming up to the camera and screaming in it when they won. I wanted it to feel like World Cup 2002, Like I was a hero, A warrior of my country with passion and exctement beyond belief. I didn’t get that. World Cup 2010 must be better. You need a forum for that actually cos I’ve got some excellent ideas.

I am disappointed that EURO 08 doesn’t let me use the Pro camera outside of Be a Pro Mode. I loved that option in FIFA 08.

The game is a bit too fast, please don’t repeat for Fifa 2009!!

Wales - Get them licensed … if your going to be the best football game! then you need to have a leg to stand on…with unlicensed national teams with fake names….Pro Evolution soccer will more than likely be the preferred choice! sort the licenses out and be #1

I THINK IT IS ALROUND ALOT BETTER THAN FIFA, THE PASSING SYSTEM WAS A BIG IMPROVMENT! SO WAS THE WAS THE PLAYERS MOVE WITH THE BALL!

I really liked the Captain Your Country mode. It was very original. My only problem with it was that sometimes points were not registered, such as off stealing throw-ins.
I didn’t like the difficulty settings, though. On semi-pro, I could drop seven or eight easily, but on pro I coudn’t even score. There was no setting that seemed right.
Also I would have liked creating and editing players, outside of the CYC mode and experience points. I know it’s not realistice, but it gives customizibility to the game.

love the kick stick!!! good game overall but whers the licenced holland and russia kits? another thing ive found very annoying is in the euro 2008 mode, you dont get to see the other results on the quarter and semi finals and you dont get to see who scored the goals in the other matches like on the fifa world cup 2006 game

    Pc version —> Graphics….

    You all know why

ps2 graphics in 2008 are insulting to say the least

EURO 2008 was definately an improvement on Fifa 08 as far as graphics and gameplay are concerned. The new Be A Pro/Captain Your Country ratings work considerably better than on Fifa 08. I think the idea being proposed on here about a Captain your Club mode would be absolutely immense. The new through-balls are FAR better than those of Fifa 08 and should be kept as opposed to those of Fifa. Keep the speed of the game in Euro 2008. Requires build up, can play either nice pure football passing game or bomb up with fast pace.

Please oh please, change the keeper rushing out system. The keeper seems to semi-set himself making him waddle out as opposed to sprint often causing in ridiculous lob shots and the like. Another edition to keepers may also be a punch button as opposed to the keeper just flapping at the ball randomly and only keepers with the trait punching.

Seasonal weather effects would be great. Sunny, nice conditions in summer, and in countries like Spain, and poor weather within the winter, especially English stadiums. (All round rain for Scottish league.)

Imrpovements, as far as depth is concerned the Manager Mode needs drastic changes. Fatigue is utterly ridiculous. The levels of it that is. Keep fatigue in by all means just tweak it to become more realistic, please. Secondly, the transfer system is poor in my opinion, which I believe is probably shared by the majority in here. Changing it so there are no limits upon how much can be offered would be a great start at the least. And lastly for the Manager Mode, a reserve/youth or both squads available for production of the younger/fringe players so they dont just rot in the R part of the squad.

Thanks for reading, hope my contribution is appreciated.

Trick system is rubbish, bring some designated buttons for basic tricks such as stepovers.
Captain your country ratings are abismal, e.g. if you cross in a ball you will decrease in score however when you cross successful in that your team does get the ball(and not score) you don’t go up, kinda makes me think why should i cross.
Computer AI only ever scores with headers, also due to defensive AI being poor.
Through balls are too hit and miss and pass detection is pretty weak in that long balls never go to the player u want half the time.
Goalies save 9/10 unsaveable shots whilst all you have to do to score is get one and one and lightly tap shoot to score.

I like the speed and real player names
